Patios and Paving

Lewis Landscapes offers clients a wide choice of paving and patio materials, including natural stone, gravels, and concrete in various forms. Local San Juan stone is the material of choice for informal patios made with random shapes. Pennsylvania Bluestone is also popular, ranging in thickness from 1 inch to 3-4 inches. Other natural stones, such as Cowboy Coffee, Basalt, Silver and Gold Mica, are available

For a more formal look, we can supply stone tiles and pavers, used either on their own or in combination with other materials. Concrete products are a cost effective alternative to natural stone, often the practical choice where large areas need to be paved and safety is a consideration. A good range of concrete products is available from stockists on the island. 

The smart paving in the picture above is laid on a pedestal system over an old patio.  A pedestal system eliminates the need for extensive groundwork, allows paving over uneven surfaces while concealing all pipework and cables.  The finished surface is easy to keep clean and will not rot.   Have a word with Andrew if you think you might be interested in this.
