Remodelling a garden with a new front and extending the rear with seeded lawns, patio and pergola
The setting for this garden was an enviable combination of meadow grassland and deciduous woodland. We were provided with a very specific landscaping brief as part of a major renovation project. A traditional fence and garden to the front of the former cottage was to be completely removed and replaced with a modern, open layout, giving more visibility to the property. Save for a Japanese Acer and an ornamental Cherry, all the existing shrubs were in poor condition and had to be replaced.
A large area at the side of the house was extended to incorporate an adjacent meadow.
The area was then regraded and landscaped with a low retaining wall, patio, and pergola.
..we do it naturally!
